Madrid Gothic Week is organized since 2009 by Besarilia, a non profit cultural association. For this event Besarilia has the support of the Ministry of Culture, Ana Maria Iriarte Foundation and some publishers. Unfortunately, the contributions received are not enough to cover all costs of production of a ten-day event, especially when most of the grants and contributions are in kind.
Despite the challenging economic situation, is important to remark the Association makes efforts to ensure that 90% of the event be free, and tickets charged to attend concerts and G Platform are very low cost, which is not enough to cover the expenses of this production
This year Association members decided to follow the Crowfounding model and to give our audience the chance to be our producers.
So if you want to become a Producer of the III Madrid Gothic Week, your financial contribution (the value you want from one euro) will be well received by Besarilia and your name will appear on our website as associate executive producer.D
