New cinema trends and releases in Ventana Oscura 2014
“Urbex”, the exploration of abandoned places and structures, is one of the subjects that will be addressed this year within the Ventana Oscura. In the last times, this trend has seduced to the filmmakers due to the possibility of telling stories from the solitude and mistery provided by those ghostly places, whose location is never revealed.
“Musarañas”, the thriller produced by Alex de la Iglesia, will have a round table with Juanfer Andrés and Esteban Roel, the directors. They will talk about their experience in the making of the film.
Ventana Oscura will end with the non-competitive screening of the short-films elected by the official jury. In this occassion, we also have the support of Filmin, the well-known online movie platform. One of the films will be awarded with the recognition “Cortometraje Ventana Oscura en Filmin”. Its creator will receive a three month free subscription and the publication of his/her short-film in the mentioned platform (according to the distribution agreements).
