A 2-Day SGM FEST for the first time
In 2014 our desire has already been fulfilled: a two day SGM Fest, thanks to the efforts of our deputy director Billyphobia, the fest finally saw the light. That was possible only after many hours of discussion with our director and producer, a lady of gothic heart but Kafkaesque brain, because she never makes a decision without consulting her Excel files (we think she has it integrated into her DNA), previous years budgets and constantly repeating: “Remember that the SGM is not only the festival, there is also a literature meeting, a conference, an exhibition, theater, fashion … and we have to pay airline tickets, hotels, technicians, fuel … “. Well, she recited the Excel file every time he mentioned a band, but after a few antiacid pills, we succeeded. It has not been easy, there have been various financial juggles and negotiations, but we will not bore the readers telling the story, we simply want to say that we are very proud to offer two days of great music and many styles at affordable prices that are possible because the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, supports the Madrid Gothic Week from the beginning in 2010.
